We are excited to announce a new service line available from Skin Care Doctors; Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Patients will now have the convenience of treatment of skin disease and immediate evaluation and reconstruction of resulting defects by a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. We will also offer the full suite of aesthetic treatments from minimally invasive injections to surgical interventions.
Matthew Camp M.D. is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He will be joining us in April after five years as a surgeon within Mayo Clinic. He maintains the rank of Assistant Professor in the Mayo Clinic School of Medicine, and has authored numerous scholarly publications regarding aging of the face. He has been recognized and honored at the national level, presenting to large audiences of plastic surgeons starting in 2006. Undergraduate education was completed at the University of Maryland, graduate school at University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, and medical education at Wake Forest School of Medicine. Surgical training in Plastic Surgery was completed at the prestigious Loma Linda University Medical Center in Southern California, where he was mentored by some of the most prominent and groundbreaking figures in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. He subsequently joined Mayo Clinic in 2012 as a member of the surgical staff.
Doctor Camp provides facial aesthetics and reconstruction, including face lift, eyelid surgery, outer ear surgery, and local tissue re-arrangements. Body surgery includes breast reconstruction, breast reduction, breast augmentation and lift, tummy tuck, arm lift, and thigh and buttocks lift. His focus is on creating a relaxed, comfortable experience for the patient, with minimal discomfort and low down time in recovery.
A native of the Southeast, Doctor Camp is happy to call Minnesota home. He is married and is the proud father of three children, and is busy in the state’s favorite activities, fishing, ice skating, running, boating, as well as playing guitar. He looks forward to taking care of your patients.
